Science & Social Studies 

 This year we will teach Science or Social Studies throughout the entire school year. We will start with a unit of Science followed by a unit of Social Studies. 

Students will also use what they learn in Social Studies to write a book in our 4th writing unit. 

There will be notebook checks in Science and Social Studies. This is the year we will begin to teach the importance of organized notebooks and folders. On the day of the tests students will hand in all the pages of their notebook for a quiz grade.  Below are the items that should be in you child's Science/Social Studies "Notebook" (Folder)
